Fabric Workshop

If you are by the Convention Center/ Chinatown and you want to see some good art for an hour without leaving the neighborhood, there’s the Fabric Workshop on 1315 Cherry, 5th floor, which has a good work by Paul Chan up now which I believe is the same one the Boston ICA features. Admission is by donation and someone takes you up to the 6th floor to see what is now selections from the permanent collection after you are done with the Chan show. As you walk down the steps to leave a gallery called Vox Populi has 3 or 4 one-room shows up which are worth seeing.
